Navigation System Upgrades: What to Know

Overview

We’re upgrading accounts with large flight counts to a new navigation system. This upgrade improves performance and lays the foundation for future enhancements.

Where You'll Notice Improvements

These upgrades specifically improve the MY LOGS → FLIGHTS and MANAGE → PILOTS pages. With the new system:

  • Pages load faster.

  • Actions performed on these pages (such as filtering or navigating between results) respond more quickly.

  • Overall performance is smoother, especially for accounts with very large flight histories.

What's Changed

Updated Flights Page Layout

The upgrades introduce an updated look on the MY LOGS → FLIGHTS page. Below is a screenshot comparison showing how flights appear in the new system versus the previous one.

Search and Filtering Behavior

Search Box Timing

  • Search results show a few seconds after you stop typing in the search box at the top of the flight list.

  • Quick tip: Press Enter after typing your search term to see results right away. See below for an example.

Loading Indicator

  • A spinning wheel appears while flights are loading on the "Overview" section.

  • This means the system is still processing your request.

  • Wait until the wheel disappears before assuming all results are shown. See below for an example.

Benefits of the Upgrade

  • Faster performance for accounts with very large flight histories.

  • Better experience on FLIGHTS and PILOTS pages.

  • Search by organization in the Advanced Search Tool.

  • Organization admin flight views. Learn more here.

  • Improved scalability as your flight data grows.
